User Manual - OSD

The OSD is available in two different versions. The basic one can only display texts. The advanced/alternative one requires the .NET Framework 3.5 with SP1 (Download) to be installed and can also display icons and menus.

  • You can change the position, size, font type, font size and color as well as the back color. Click and drag the OSD with the right mouse button to quickly move it up and down.
  • Activate the checkbox "Automatically hide OSD" to be able to test the display duration.
  • In the main-window tab "Settings" you can also de-/activate different message types. "Userdefined messages" are messages that you directly required (e.g. with an OSD-action) or messages, that are required to control X10Receiver.NET v2.
