Can I get a evaluation version of the X10Receiver.NET v2?

Yes. It's actually as simple as installing the software. After the setup completes, you automatically get an evaluation serial that is valid for 30 days.

When do I need a new serial?

When you modify your network card or when you reformat your hard disk, your serial may become invalid. Of course, you can easily get a new serial at no charge. In most cases, a new serial is generated after entering the old one. If not, you can get a new serial with this form.

Do I need a license for each operating system/computer?

Yes. A license is valid for one installation of an operating system. This means, that you need multiple licenses for multiple computers or multiple OS copies - even if you own only one remote control.
Of course, your license can be assigned to another computer at no charge.
We offer secondary licenses at half the price.

X10Receiver.NET v2 only runs under one user account.

Your license is valid for all accounts of your operating system, of course. For technical reasons, you will have to enter the serial once per account.

Do I need an internet connection?

No. X10Receiver.NET v2 can be used without internet connection. There is no online activation of course. But since your HardwareID #2 depends on your network card, a separable network card can be a problem (e.g. a Wireess USB Adapter). In case you have a problem like this, please simply send us an e-mail to get a new serial without ID #2.
Please note, that X10Receiver.NET v2 is not able to get an evaluation license automatically without internet connection. You will have to use this form instead.

Can I present someone with a license?

Yes, you can. At the price of a normal license, you can buy a coupon code, which does not require you to know the HardwareIDs. The presentee can redeem his/her voucher through our website or the software itself.
