Find Out Your HardwareIDs
1st possibility: X10Receiver.NET v2 Help-Tab
Open the X10Receiver.NET v2 main window (by doubleclicking the tray icon next to the clock) and switch to the tab "Help". You will find your HardwareIDs under "License information".
2nd possibility: HardwareIDTool
Download and open the HardwareIDTool (21 KB). This tool is not available in English. We apologize for that. However, the functionality should be quite obvious.
Note
Always specify the HardwareIDs of the correct computer!
Your HardwareIDs change whenever you format your hard drive or remove your network card. This also includes disconnecting a USB wireless adapter. The serial system is meant to protect us from pirate copies and not to block you.
